During the Ensor Year, Fort Napoleon is hosting a unique family exhibition on James Ensor, based on the children's book 'Grote Kunst voor Kleine Kenners' (Great Art for Great Kids) about Ensor.
During the Ensor Year, Fort Napoleon is organising a unique family exhibition on James Ensor, based on a children's book around Ensor. It will be a renewed collaboration with Thaïs Vanderheyden (Spiekpietjes, De kleine Kapitein) and the design and production team Nester, which is developing the do-activities.
Great Art for Great Kids introduces children to the great master James Ensor in a surprisingly original way. Young and old can indulge in an interactive quest that creatively helps them better understand the world of James Ensor.
This expo is part of Ensor 2024, celebrating 75th anniversary of the death of artist James Ensor.
